Raising WooCommerce product-image alt coverage

How a mid-size catalogue moved from sparse product-image alt text to reviewed coverage on in-scope SKUs — without claiming a named client.

Composite, anonymised example based on typical OpptiAI remediation patterns. Figures are illustrative for teaching the workflow — not a testimonial from a named brand.

What we did

  1. Ran free public-page audits on top category and product URLs to size the visible gap.
  2. Scoped “in-scope” images: featured + gallery on active SKUs; left decorative badges empty.
  3. Bulk-generated drafts in batches; humans edited materials, colours, and model names.
  4. Re-checked a public sample and kept new uploads in the same review loop.
